Have Kit, Will Travel

The challenge this month over on the GPP blog is a kit for your art journal. It was perfect excuse for me to dig out this apron that I got a few months back and had wanted to decorate it. It has nice deep pockets for my supplies and is perfect for rolling-up and sticking in my bag. The winged baby is by Retro Cafe Art Gallery. I attached it to a piece of fabric and then I covered it with a transparency and sticked it down. The buttons I made using Ranger's Glossy accents. I stamped the pockets using Memories black ink.

hey bianca - love this apron! terrific idea to stash your supplies in the pockets, ready to roll. roll up and put away, or roll out and tie on for a little journaling wherever you are! thanks for sharing with the team this clever perspective on what a "kit" can be!

Bianca...this is such a clever idea to hold your supplies and then ready to use wherever you are. I have been wanting to get an apron to decorate and I think after seeing yours it has pushed me to go get an apron. Yours is really great and love the bold red color of it :o)

It's so funny how you don't think of things that seem so brilliant once you see it... Wearing an apron. What is better? It may not work out on the beach, but at home? perfect. I'm getting great ideas from this crusade.

Hi Bianca,
great idea! I wear one (if you see it you know why ;-)) but keeping your fav tools within a hand's reach, clever!!
Thanx for sharing, Hedwig
